Preparation Before the Sale
Meagher organizes all pertinent information about the project into a streamlined data package. This information can include well operation reports, historical production volumes, expenses and revenues, land ownership, land and marketing contracts, geologic information, and seismic data. After reviewing this information with the seller, our staff generates economic evaluations and writes summaries which highlight the most important characteristics of each asset. This information is then assembled into an electronic data package and is posted on our web site. Meagher's new web site, launched in early 2010, utilizes the latest content distribution technology to deliver information interactively and efficiently. When a potential buyer accesses the data package online, they can be confident that they will receive up-to-date and well-organized information which can be used to build their own evaluation of the assets.
Interested buyers often request a face-to-face data room presentation. Meagher hosts these data rooms in their Denver or Tulsa office. Our staff presents an overview presentation and leads a discussion of the important issues for the particular project. Attendees also have the opportunity to review documents that may not be available online
